History
Our family has enjoyed working with Will Nord and his family for decades, both to purchase and develop not only our Oakview Vineyard but our Lakeville Vineyard as well. Our two families continue to work together today to cultivate ultra-premium cabernet sauvignon grapes from this special Napa Valley property.
In 1989, the Sangiacomos partnered with Will Nord on the purchase and development of the Oakville Vineyard.
Vineyard
Located near the Vaca Range, our Oakville Vineyard enjoys deep alluvial clay loam soils. The vines are deeply rooted, but are only moderately vigorous due to minimal irrigation and covercropping. The microclimate is perfect for cabernet grapes with a gentle morning fog and reliably warm and sunny afternoons throughout the growing season.
