The 2019 Pinot Noir Roberts Road Vineyard has a medium ruby-purple color and opens with a touch of flinty reduction that gives way to aromas of cranberry sauce, blood orange, black tea leaves, mossy bark and forest floor that continue to offer up more aromatic nuance as it spends time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is intense and layered, with a blend of sweet berry fruit, dark spice and earthy accents. It has fine, sandy tannins and juicy acidity, finishing long and nuanced. It deserves another 2-3 years in the cellar but drinks beautifully straight from the bottle now.
